How I Add Value

  • Icon of a hand holding a heart

User Experience (UX) Design is the art of making people love interacting with a product or service. At its heart, this means having a deep understanding of the desires and goals of stakeholders. Functionality, ease of use, inclusivity (operatable regardless of a person’s ability), and aesthetics are important considerations.

  • Icon of an art palette

I mainly design the screens (i.e. front-end) for digital products like mobile apps and responsive websites. This is the User Interface (UI) that people interact with. The UI is responsible for delivering the principles of the UX. The application of accessibility principles and visual design theory is vital for design success.

  • Icon of two arrows, representing a repeated cycle

Design occurs through an evolution of stages. Iteration is repeatedly evaluating and improving a product or service. Through collaborating with stakeholders, doing research, testing, and implementing ideas, I keep finding ways to make improvements (i.e. iterate), which allows me to turn something from ‘zero’ to ‘hero.’
